Amarillo police closing roads as rains bring flash floods

(Steve Douglass/KVII) AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — As the rain comes down in Amarillo, police have closed multiple roads due to high waters. East 3rd and 10th Street downtown underpasses are closed to traffic. The area of 45th and Coulter, Amarillo Boulevard East and Evergreen, Amarillo Boulevard East and the railroad tracks near the Eastridge neighborhood are also closed. Barricades are being put up at 46th and Hardin due to flooding.
